Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to the Uber promotion for new users:
- Please input the promo code SKIPKUNGFUCode is copied (“Promo Code”) before starting the trip. The Offer is subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis. Each eligible user will only be able to enjoy the Offer once.
- The promotion period is from now until 31 December 2024 (“Promotion Period”).
- The Offer is applicable to the first Uber Taxi trip taken by a new user of the Uber App who has never signed up to any Uber accounts before (“New User”).
- During the Promotion Period, New Users will be able to enjoy a maximum discount of HK$100 on the first Uber Taxi trip and 20% off discount for 4 Uber Taxi rides within specific time periods (“Offer”). Any excess amount charged for the trip shall be paid by the Uber App user. Any shortfall amount will not be deferred.
- Within 24 hours after the completion of the first Uber Taxi trip, an additional 20% off discount for 4 Uber Taxi rides will be automatically applied to your account, limited to two (2) trips commenced within the following period: Monday to Friday, 7-10am or 5-8pm; and two (2) trips commenced within the following period: Monday to Sunday, 10pm to 5am. The maximum discount to be applied per trip is capped at HK$50. Any excess amount charged for the trip shall be paid by the Uber App user. Any shortfall amount will not be deferred.
- The Offer is not applicable to any metered taxi trip or trips settled with cash payment.
- The Offer is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- The Promo Code shall be valid only within Hong Kong and when both the start and finish time of the trip are within the Promotion Period.
- Only one promo code can be used for each Uber trip. If you have entered multiple promo codes into the Uber App and these are all applicable for your trip, the valid promo code with the highest value will be applied first.
- Users can only have one Uber App account. If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that a user is creating fraudulent accounts and violating our General Terms of Use and/or the Uber Community Guidelines, Uber may suspend the user account, and you will therefore not be eligible for any promotion.
- Other terms and conditions may apply. Uber reserves the right of final decision in relation to this Offer and the Promo Code.
- Any and all questions related to the trip shall be reported to Uber via the Uber App.
- Uber has the sole right to modify these terms and conditions and to modify, cancel or terminate the Offer and the Promo Code at any time without prior notification to the Uber App user.
- If there is any discrepancy of the English and the Chinese version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
